The Villa Wrea Green

Under new ownership really great atmosphere rooms really nice They are undergoing refurb programme so can't wait to see it all finished.

Beautiful old building in a very nice area. Hotel was nice, easy check in, good value. The room was simple, clean and quiet. Bed was comfy. We had a meal in the restaurant too. The food was good quality and very tasty. The wine was good. The service was a little chaotic but no major problems. I understand it was under new management so a bit adjustment is to be expected. Altogether a pleasant experience

Love this venue I can’t wait to come back and stay in the hotel. I was here for event, the room was perfect and all the staff were really really nice the food was lush loved the Lancashire hotpot and the cheesecake at the end

We stayed at the hotel a few days ago for a wedding nearby. Communication prior was spot on. Check in and out super easy. We were super impressed with the family room, its was spacious, comfortable, clean and well supplied. Fantastic for the price. The reception team were so friendly, helpful and welcoming, a credit to the hotel. Great for recommendations. The housekeeping staff were fantastic. Breakfast team very attentive and service was prompt. Food was great with a wide selection. We travelled with children and the bar staff topped the service when they sorted us some warm milk for bed. Home from home. Keep up the wonderful work. We made some great memories and will very fondly remember our stay. Thank you

We had our wedding at the Villa on 12/09/25. We arrived the day before to find that unfortunately the wedding coordinator that we had been dealing with for nearly two years was poorly so probably would be at the wedding and the hotel had literally just been sold that day and the new owners were taking over for the next day! Of course this made us extremely nervous that things may not go well and may be unorganised but we couldn’t have been more wrong! We were reassured by the new manager that everything would be fine and it was, it was an amazing day with some of the original staff team still working and even though a lot of the team were brand new to the Villa they all went way above and beyond to make our day the most special day of our lives!! The day went perfectly and us and our guests were looked after so well with great attention to detail! The food was unreal and the venue looked amazing!! There are rumours that weddings are being discontinued but the manager advised us this is untrue and it is business as usual. We would highly recommend the Villa to anyone looking for a perfect and beautiful wedding venue in a gorgeous location. Thank you for everything Joe & Emma Smart

Visited The Villa today for an afternoon tea which was a birthday treat and it certainly didn't disappoint. The venue itself is stunning and full of character, upon chatting with the manager Lewis who explained that renovations are in the pipeline, it sounds like attention to the original features will be celebrated and only modernised where needed which was music to our ears. The food and service were second to none. Elliot's impressive attention to detail ensured our afternoon ran smoothly. The food was so flavoursome and could really taste the homemade touches, there were plenty of yummy noises coming from our table.
